i agree, pre-sales specs are never perfect, esp since half of the specs are from speculative websites/sources. Rarely do we know the official specs until they are released publicly, and usually they are a little bit lower than what we speculate they will be.
As for this laptop, I'm not sure I would need to spend $4600 on a dual-core laptop that weighs 12 pounds. Other than taking it to a LANparty, what would you do with this kind of power on the road? I'm sure there are a few engineers that travel that could very well use it, but other than that...
I'd rather get a 9880 plus a sweet desktop for that kind of cash. Or a Hyundai.
