Compaq Presario R3000 keyboard

HI
I have a compaq presario R3000. Ex-demo model so no software was installed. Got everything working now and well pleased with it. ONE problem still: The @ sign is still above the 2 key when you want to type it, but not on the actual layout of the keyboard. I believe my layout is UK, but the notebook reads it as US! Any ideas on changing from US to UK?

If the @ symbol is above the apostrophe and the - symbol is above the 2, then you have a UK keyboard....call compaq or check ebay.

Got it sorted. Setting in Regional and Language options.
