This device is pretty slick. It's called the Slingbox. I don't know if anyone has stumbled on it yet. It was just reviewed today (06/30/05). It's pretty sweet. You can stream video from your TV at home to your PC or Laptop anywhere you are in the world (provided you have an internet connection).

great product but too pricey for me. will be nice to have when i do my heavy duty traveling to watch mets games!

How about just reusing your TV turner card on your desktop and use Windows media encoder?:

great gadget....I saw an advertisement for it on cable and it looked funky but very practical. The price isn't that bad if you consider its capabilities. I'm sure more devices will come out sporting similiar features and the prices will definitely go down.
