Thought it's worth mention. The HP L2005cu is now available, looks like a very nice portable, nice features and price. Ferrari 4005wlmi is there too.

Man that acer ferrari is a sweet looking laptop, but my 1500$ Gen2 would eat that thing for breakfast....

Acer Ferrari is like a 150hp neon, compared to Gen2 = 600 hp Ferrari F50

Your Gen2 also has a 17-inch diagonal screen, and more than a few pounds heavier.

You are comparing two completely different types of notebook: DTR and portable.

more like a 200hp vs a 300hp
+ the 200hp car only weights less than 2/3 of the 300hp car.. soo i wouldn't say 1 would eat da other 1 alive

For that matter .If you want to compare performance then the new dual core sager amd notebook will eat your gen2 for breakfast and it wont be around for lunch at all.

compare something that is equal.

BTW gen2 doesnt have the ferrari name attached to it, Doesnt look that greatferrarish (though looks great with that led and aluminium finish) doesnt have that bluetooth ferrari mouse. its not ferrari d same way ferrari is not gen2, so dont compare two different segments . If you want to compare then see the acer 8104 and acer ferrari.

Sager hehehe, i'll tell you what else the sager will eat, 2 or three of your Visa Platnium Cards, and if thats not enough about a good 10 minutes on a 12 cell battery hehehehe.

Stay on topic: CompUSA offering the Ferrari 4005. That's pretty nice for them.

I remember looking for custom fan grills for a desktop I was making. No one had them that I could find; not the usual place I go to, or a "high-end" gaming business either. Finally I decided to drop by CompUSA just to see what they had, if anything (I was passing by, otherwise I'd never stop there).

Well, thay actually had AS5, and at least 8 different custom fan grills. Very impressed. I never thought CompUSA would ever have anything that would cater to me.
