Nice, 89c is fine, 95c is fine too. It will just throttle down when it hits that temp.

Hi im interested in flashin the 6800 ultra bios and was wondering whether it will work with a floppy disk and if there is any different procedure needed. Also will it work a removable usb device?

Why use a floppy when you have a Bootable CD ISO?
i only asked about the floppy cos i didnt actually have a cd-r in my house at the time, but then realised i could do it on a blank dvd. Anyway i successfully flashed and set clocks at 500/1200 getting a 3dmark05 score of 5994 but after about 30 mins of cs source i got a reboot...guess i'll have to downclock. I was wondering whether you would recommend changing the core or memory - is there a real difference in performance with either?

Actually I recommend getting a new GPU. There are many ways to do it some with undesirable interfacing with Dell dumb dumb techs.

I chose the easy route at the time....Order a new one and swap.

lol yeah me too, but....................................... it rebooted when OC'd..... maybe toning the clocks down a bit will help.

Mine likes 500/1300 though

does anyone else get kinda flickering on games especially when turning corners or making rapid movements...I imagine this is due to the overclock....extra cooling a solution??

Without reading the whole thread again, is the rar file originally posted still found somewhere else (as the link is no longer valid)?

Orignal bios are posted as goodorig.rom....

Excellent. I had them all somewhere, but seem to have misplaced them a while ago. I'm going to go ahead and host these on my file server as well, so that others can find them if needed.

Come on guys...I managed it all by myself...you can do it too, it's not that hard!

i've done it, but i'd like to have a cd with all the possible clock combinations. It's annoying to edit all those files
