Mirrors would be great. Who knows what Comcast bandwith limits are. Once you host the file I'll post it with the rest.

I got 62xx 3d2005 w/ 525/1300 w/ 512MB RAM. Also tried 545/1300 and Auto OC (effectively 545-563/1300) but locked up during nature. I use AirCon. Those that have problems w/ lower speeds have y'all tried w/ AC fullblast. Nice things about laptops is you can use near AC in many places like cars, etc. I also have a mini basket (10"x8"x4") where I keep all the misc stuff cables/ac adapter/5.1 headphones amp/ which also fit a mini hispeed 120v fan as my power cooler. Fan + amp + 130w adapter all plug into a thin extension cord coming out of the basket.

Again, thanks for all your great work.
Also want to add that you can also use a usb drive to boot or save data to during DOS boot. I have a usb to ide adapter ebay$13. Thanks.

I burnt the stuff in the 3rd link to a CD and when I told the comp to boot from CD, it just started up to windows normally. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Yes, I unzipped it first :P.

I think you need to disable boot from HD in the bios setup F2.

You shouldn't have to, but if you do that and it doesn't find any bootable media there is either a problem with the ISO or a problem with your burn.

Somebody want to confirm success of burning iso and booting from the subsequent CD?
Edit: I disabled boot from HD and it said "No bootable media found. F2 to enter setup or <some key here> to retry Boot"

Did you save the bios changes? If you did then there might be something wrong, since it should not boot from internal HD. Another way is to physically remove the HD or reflash/upgrade the bios.
See my edit. I had accidentally disabled the wrong choice (USB).

I did that. It obviously doesn't find anything bootable on the CD and goes to boot from HD and starts up windows. Tried 4 times now.

All the files burnt to the CD are:

475C1250.rom through 525C1300.rom

Blah, thats probably what I get for just trying to use Windows built in CD burning. I'll give this a try in Nero and I'll let you know.

Did you burn the CD as an image not data. The content of the CD should have many files not *.iso. Also use CD/DVD-RW so you can always rewrite. Also, I mentioned that you can also boot from a usb HD, which allow so much possibilities. Faster/cheaper HDs, multiples OS, etc.
