Low Volume Headphone Output? Read Here

Another user found this on another thread I thought I'd share this with everyone. TurtleBeach has a nifty USB size type soundcard which amplifies your headphone output [Louder] and give your laptop better sound with different types of effects.

It is the size of a very small flash drive and costs about $25 bucks. See here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&CMP=OTC-C173T

Also check out CNET review gave it a 8.0, very good score.

Found my solution to low headphone output problem.

The Audio Advantage Micro's core component is a USB device that looks very much like a small memory drive. When plugged into the USB port, either directly or using the supplied extension cord, it bypasses the laptop's audio technology and uses its own to perform the digital-to-analog conversion.

Moving that conversion away from the interference endemic inside a laptop case and using higher quality components results in a cleaner, less distorted signal and better sound.

Crisp sound people for $25 bucks. [TM 8100 owners ]

Yes of course. Only through the headphones. Only way to get better output through the speakers is to get better speakers really.
