10 month of 700m owner's option

ok, I had this lappie for about 10 month.

Couple things,

1)keyboard I notice is starting to lag. Meaning, not responsive as before.
What is my option? Otherwise, everything else is working perfect
I been abusing this baby for last 4 month using it over 10 hours a day..
I still like te laptop enough to not pull a trigger for other lappie.... although
6000d is very strong possblities..

2)I want to spend under $200(but less the better) for upgrades.

My first concern is harddrive... I wanna get bit bigger(40gig? I have 30 gig
now) hdd which has either 5400rpm or 7200rpm(best and quite one w/ big
cache).. Anything you want to recommen? I prefer under $100
Second is RAM. I have 512MB but I would like to upgrade to 1 GIG
Please recommend some under $100

My other upgrade wish for is the docking station which I don't think it exist.
If that is the case then, I will have to get one more power ext so that I can
go to work in very small lappie bag w/ only lappie in it(w/out powercord).

Please comment on it if you like.

thanks.

200 goes a long way these days. You can get an 80gb 5400 for around 100 and a gig of ram for about the same. If you're still under warranty, have them ship you a new KB, if not, I think they're about 30 bucks. Check with newegg.com for both the drive and the ram.

There's a bunch of Dell power adapters on eBay for around 30 dollars, make sure it's for the 700, the same one fits the 6000 and a few others.

Are you still under warranty? I bought a new 2200 Intel card for 25 bucks so parts are pretty cheap but if you're just bored and want something new, that's a whole different thing, nothing will scratch that itch but a new 6K. I would think your 700m would bring at least 600-700 dollars like it is.
