Hmmmm....Guys and Gals,
I have an idea....I will try this in the next few days (when I get a second to sit down and work it.)
All my rubber feet fell off the other day (the last one was hangin' in there for awhile.) This is not really a big deal for me, but it got me thinkin'
I use epoxy putty on a regular basis to fix many things. It bonds to just about anything and becomes extremely hard and paintable if you so desire.
Here is the plan: I am going to shape some epoxy putty to the exact (as best I can anyway.) shape of the rubber feet. afix them to the indented locations where the rubber feet went and let dry (24HRs) at that time I will superglue (cut to form, rubber grip mat (think the kind that go on the feet of your kitchen chairs to keep them from sliding.) on the bottom of each new foot. This should work great AND if the epoxy makes a good bond to the plastic on the laptop, stick for the life of the machine! Comments. Has anyone tried this? Let me know if so. Like I said Im gonna run to Wal Mart today and get the putty and soon get this done.
