THAT LOGIC IS HORRIBLE! Carrying that logic through I shouldn't assume that it's even Bluetooth .83b, should I assume it's .51a?
Should I plug in the floppy drive and make sure it's a double-sided 1.44mb? Now I'm not quite sure anymore.
This "horrible logic" is assuming because something does not state it does not do something that it then does do it. You should have asked, that was your responsibility and you failed to do it before you made the purchase.
"I shouldn't assume that it's even Bluetooth .83b, should I assume it's .51a?"
If it doesn't say and there is any chance, then you should have asked. You should never assume anything!
The total lack of personal responsibility that our culture is festering in disgusting... blame someone else for something you did not follow-up, research or just simply ask.
Now, that said, I thank you for informing us of this issue... if anyone gets an internal Blue Tooth card then they will know if they look. I hope this matter gets resolved for you and I wish you the best of luck. I agree with you that there is a lack of detail as to the specs of these units, but that actually makes it more so your responsibility to ask questions.
Now on a side note: Can you disable the built-in blue tooth and use a USB unit? or use both internal and external at the same time?
