Hello. I am interested in getting the Acer 8103 wlmi, and while I have read many reviews, I'd still enjoy hearing people's feedback about this model. I currently have an Acer 2012, which overall has been a great machine for gaming and office work. My only real problem with the 2010 was that the silver paint has started to wear down to the black plastic, and it's only getting worse.
What concerns me about the 8103 is that acer has covered the entire keyboard with that silver paint, unlike the 2012, which has black plastic for the entire keyboard. Has anyone had problems with the paint rubbing off on their 8103, especially near the keyboard? Any other problems with the hardware design or performance issue?
Also, does anyone know if Acer has any plans for an x800 GPU in their notebooks within the next few months? And regardless of that, does anyone know of any upcoming pricedrops for the 8103? I see it's starting to drop into the $1600s.
