anyone play bf2?

i just picked up bf2 a few days ago and love it. the only thing is that it sometimes runs a little choppy? i have turned the video options down but still get this at times. is this directly related to the video card (s360, radeon 9700)? would upgrading to 1 gig of ram do anything? how about a higher rpm hd?

its the ram, i recently upgraded to 1gb and the game runs ALOT smoother (was running 800x600 low details and it was choppy, now i'm running 800x600 medium details after the upgrade).

I have a gig in my 360 and it really doesan't do very well except on low settings. and this is at 800x600.
I will also add that I probably am going to quit trying to play it on the 360 since it looks and plays so poorly. Even with one or two settings on medium fps drop well below 30. I even have my gpu oclocked 430/ 230.

Hey.. I grabbed the new omega cat 5.6s and it has made a huge difference. Playing:
terrain: med
eff: med
geo: med
lighting:low
aa: 2x
text filt: low
distance: 90%
this is at 800x600..never dropped below 30fps and looked decent.

I then bumped to 1024x 768 with everything on low with no aa and it played well also..only dropped below 30fps when artillary was dumped on my head.
This was all on stock settings..gonna oclock and see what I can do.
