The players:
Qosmio G15-A501
original config:
primary 60GB toshiba drive
secondary 40GB toshiba drive
both appear to be masters based on pin config.
Old 60GB fujitsu drive from my Dell
New 100GB Seagate drive
I am attempting to make the 100 my primary and use one of the 60s (no matter which) as the secondary. Ive tried nearly every combination but only 2 seem to be bootable:
1) 1 disk ONLY (ive succesfully booted the 100 with XP-MC, the toshiba 60 with XP-MC, and the fujitsu 60 with XP-Pro)
2) both toshiba disks (40 and 60)
if i dont use one of the above, I cannot even get past the boot process. it just hangs where it would normally start windows. Toshiba hasnt been the greatest help so far, saying this is not something they support. Cant seem to find any bios settings in setup, though im not sure i feel knowledgeable enough to know how to set them anyway. my previous dual HD experience was with desktops and despite the extra cables went much more smoothly.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance!
