Yeah, if they make a AMD-64 version of the Z71V (exact same chassis) that uses X2 processor + ATI x700..

Man I am sooooooooooooooooooo there!

Heck, even dual core Pentium-m support I am sooooooooooo there!

Won't that be very HOT? ( temperature-wise )

Blah...

Undervoltage + AS5 will do the trick nicely.

Yeah, but are there even any real "mobile" processors? ARen't both the X2 cores (which are brand new, are they even available in notebook mobos yet?) and the Athlon 64 processors along the same line as DTR Pentium 4s? As in, the heat generating, power-hungry behemoths?

Originally I was hyped over the news of the z70va, but now I've decided to just go with the regular z70v. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I might as well use that extra money for another stick of ram. And I already have a bluetooth dongle.

I already posted elsewhere about this but for those who could be interested, I just got an A6Q or A6Va oddly not available in the US. It has everything the Z70Va has (X700a, Sonoa, DDR2 dual channel, Same battery cells...) but it is a little bulkier and weights 0.3lbs more. I had the chance to compare the two in a store in Taiwan. The thing is this laptop also has an integrated 1.3MP webcam and a microphone and is 100 bucks cheaper than the equivalent M6Q or M6Va=Z70Va...
It is presented on the Asus Global website.
