Has anyone done anything short of fan control to modify their laptop to increase the cooling? I don't mind the fans that much, but I like to have my laptop on whenever I'm awake at least, and since I have Insomnia that means around 19 hours a day usually. It runs pretty hot, I added some 1/2 inch tall anti-slider pads to the bottom, it has increased the air flow pretty well (2-3 change in celcius). But has anyone ever thought of a dock with a pelsier cooler or something of that nature to cool the air flowing through? I don't want to just add the little fan stand to it, because if that is all I'm doing I can add fans on my own. Also, has anyone modified/added new fans to their cases?
I run about 67C CPU, 58C System just in normal use with browser/bittorrent/mail app/launch apps. The lowest it goes is about 59C CPU, 50C System.
