PCMCIA Not Working

Thread Starter
I have a 5660 with PCMCIA model TI PCI1410PGE

it says the driver is installed but the hardware is not recognized.
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

and it says the paramters are incorrect

So i tried to update the driver, and scanned for new hardware and it now says the driver is not installed.....

any ideas where to get this driver and how to make it work again ?

thanks !

like may sound insane, but re-install windows. Thats the only way that i have found to fix your problem. Maybe someone else knows a better solution though...

wow you posted fast! Late night forum posting is the way to go . Hmmmm, that should of worked. I believe the driver is on http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/tech_sfwrdls.html#2 . Pick the 5660 and there should be PCMCIA drivers. Hope it helps.

thats for win2000 i am using XP, shouldnt XP recognize the PCMCIA hardware ?

In my device manager it says under PCMCIA adapters
PCI to CARBUS Bridge

if i click that it says: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver

what driver, XP doesnt need one does it for this ?
