I got an Acer 8004 with the Toshiba 80gb 5400 rpm Hard Disk, and I think I can feel my lappy running a bit hotter now a days around the Hard Disk area (where the left hand wrist rests). I have installed a HD temperature meter and it sits at 45 Celsius (113 Farenhait) more less stable over time with few applications running.
Are those temperature levels alright? is my HD overheating or am I being paranoid?
