HP Mousepad

Thread Starter
Hi , I just got a HP pavillion notebook and I noticed that unlike the other laptops I have used in the past , when I slightly tap the mousepad it doesnt simulate a left mouse click , instead I always have to use the mouse bottons. I was wondering if anybody here with a Pavillion can tell me if this is normal.

Also with integrated video is it ok to reduce the shared video memory from 64 to 32?

No,that isn't normal. I own an HP 5165. tapping the pad should simulate a left click. Your can use the buttons for left or right click. I have the impression that buttons are an ongoing problem with HP laptops
