I actually had to go to a usb adapter so i could put it closer to the door to get a better signal, which is totally counterintuitive. now i can get rid of that and just have pure unwired freedom. also this works better at the library and at school.
buy it, seriously.

UPDATE: spoke too soon...the driver is buggy!! some sites fail to open, not sure what is wrong, works well otherwise.

can you open these sites: foxsports.com and zappos.com and cnet.com?
All those work fine for me. That would not be a driver/hardware issue.

Well, I just got a new D-Link DGL-4300 wireless gaming router (SuperG compatible to 108 Mbps) and might get one of these to try out and see if it makes a difference. I'll wait and see how the Intel does first.

I'm more excited about getting gigabit between my file server and my laptop for browsing my 50GB photo library (10mb raw files take a LONG time to pass over 100 Mbps).

Yes

yeah looks like its router. if i go to a page on the site say zappos.com/n/bl (brands list) then it works fine, seems the main page on some sites doesnt load...I have no access to the router because its in my neighboors house...woot to people who dont like secured lines

my atheros works great, although when i do fn+f2 it does cut off the internet, but the wifi light is on, and the wireless display tray icon still shows it being connected.. The wireless works great though, maybe there is like an updated driver?

The first post has a link to it on GigaBytes worldwide website.. maybe it's just not out in the US yet (assuming that's where you've looked for it)?

Hi Max, I just ordered one as well. I'm also getting the Belkin Pre-N. Have you set it up yet? How does it work with the router? Are you seeing speeds above the 54 mps?

Thanks

The wireless on that particular Dlink does not work that great with Atheros chipset according to Tomshardware. For best result with this gigabyte card best got get a Dlink with "XR".

Been using the GN-WIAG for a while now...connects at 108Mbps every time. It was about $20 cheaper than the GN-WIAG02.

I'm using a DLink 624 router.

Just an fyi.
