Hello! I just recently found/joint this great forum.
By mistake I've put this message to a wrong forum yesterday and could not revoke it by myself - the moderator closed that thread per my request and advised to repeat it here. So here we go - this is the most appropriate place for such questions I hope. BTW thanks for all who has reacted to my post.
I'm sorry if my questions have been answered here but I could not find them. I guess answers might be useful for other people also.
I recently purchased Dell Inspiron 9300 with basic video card - 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon X300 and I do not like the image quality at all. So I want to upgrade the video card to the better one. 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon or
256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 (hoping that the quality would be much better). I am thinking about G6800 if it is not very expensive.
I've tried to find the cards on the Dell website and other places on the Internet but I could not. It seems to me now that there is only one way (most expensive) to upgrade - call Dell. But I'd like to explore my options before I call them.
Could you please let me know how to do such upgrade the most efficient way (cost, time)? What about warranty? I have Complete Care for 3 years.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
