Uh.. why the hell would you try gaming on batteries?
I've noticed this view from you in other threads too DM, it does seem a bit ignorant, first off, he didnt say he'd want to game on batteries, this laptop will offer decent battery life and decent games performance, and yes, a 1.7GHz pentium-M supported by a 9600 will cut through pretty much any current game, it beats my desktop, athlon 1.8, GF4, and I've never had to turn down the detail settings on any game on that.
Just because a laptop is capable of gaming, doesnt mean it has to be used exclusively for gaming. I use my 8890 primarily for work but I wouldnt have bought it if I couldnt game on it as well, I dont need mobility but many people do and a desktop P4 kills any hope of that.
It frustrates me how other companies up until recently have only offered either good games performance or good battery life, using 'integrated graphics' and the like, where a decent GPU could easily make a mobile machine into a fair performer in games with relatively little sacrifice in battery life outside games. My point is give these laptops a chance, sorry if I got a little carried away, they're a great idea, and for what I think about Sager selling them, see Bratag's post.
