I am hesitating between Toshiba A75 S2111 and Fujitsu N3510.
Both are at the same price range (around 1379-1399).
A75 S2111
Pentium 4 HT Technology (3.20GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 533MHz)
512MB PC2700 DDR333 SDRAM
15.4" WXGA Display w/TruBrite
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP w/up to 128MB video memory (64MB default)
80GB HDD (4200rpm)
Atheros® Wireless LAN (802.11b/g) supporting
N3510
Pentium M (1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)
512 MB DDR2 (400 MHz) SDRAM memory
15.4" WXGA Color-Enhanced Crystal View TFT display
ATI Mobility RADEON X300 with 64 MB of dedicated video memory
60 GB HDD (4200rpm)
Integrated Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection (Dual mode 802.11b/g)
Most application with laptop includes Word, Excel, and Photoshop for my research, and recording software such as Cubase for my hobby.
Toshiba definitely has a great screen with clear text and vivid color ( as seen in Best Buy), and for me, it was even better than Sony FS series, which appeared to be too washed out. I don’t know how the famous Fujitsu screen matches. In terms of Speed, stability, Built quality, heat-control and noise, which one could be better? I really can’t decide which one to go with. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
