i'm very pleased with the Skooba sleeve. Fits very nice. There is a little extra padding at the bottom corners which causes the sleeve to snug up against the extended battery quite nicely. The more i use it the more i love it. I would definately recommend it to anyone for their 700M.

i recieved my tom binh monolith sleeve on the 12th. all i can say so far is that it fits perfectly and it protects the laptop very well. i dont have a camera right now because it was left at my friends house about 1 hour away. once i get my camera back ill take pictures of it.

I'm liking the look of the Shinza sleeve over the skooba sleeve. Where can I purchase the shinza sleeve from?

www.shinza.com OR try ebay, for the black colour sleeve that's in backorder

I ordered a Roadwired APS. I didn't want to go for the Roadwired Skooba because I simply can't find a cheap source in Canada. Also, from what I read (perhaps someone can clear it up for future bag lookers), it doesn't really look like a sleeve to me, and what I'm looking for was a sleeve. Something slim but with protection, something I can easily slip into my backpack that supposedly should fit 2 textbooks including laptop Or when I just need my 700m w/o textbooks, I can carry that on my shoulders. Will have pictures for it once I receive it, and find the USB transfer cable to the digicam.

Someone told me that the shinza sleeve is too tight for the 700m + extended battery. They said it fits but it stretches when you zip it close which then causes it to tear over time.

I got the 12" MacCase.
700m with the extended battery is snug, but works.

_RT_ , I'm considering the same MacCase for my 700m (regular battery). What about using the regular battery. How's the fit???

I hope you got the smaller Tucano sleeve for the 12" iBook/Ultra Portables and not the 15" size. I think the medium is for 15" notebooks. My small Tucano sleeve fits like a glove on my 700m with either the extended or standard battery. Fry's Electronics has them for $21.99 in their retail stores. Thats where I got mine.
