i think i'll pass on taking it apart....

i wouldnt want to take it apart either, and the lack of the service is what really is keeping me from ordering a loaded out 3880 since i want it in colour not just the basic look.... gotta stand out.

I would not call this a lack of service per se; in fact, quite the opposite.

Anyone can offer additional value added services. One of the distinct differences between PC Torque and most (not all, of course) other vendors is the quality of service. It would be rather easy to again offer this service (as they have in the past) by simply outsourcing the task to another, but since the relocation I think those end-users wishing this added service are better served by the wait.

Further explaination here, or any of the threads listed here.

im sorry if my wording was not clear, i didnt mean that PCT was lacking in service, quite the opposite since i find that the service i have recieved from them to have been exceptional throughout. what stops me from ordering is that i would like to see the paint service brought back so that i dont risk my warranty and a lack of service that i am sure i would get with other resellers, i would much prefer PCT. i was only expressing my lack of happiness in the fact there is not a paint place with suitable quality out there who can do them at a reasonable price for PCT. i really do hope they find one soon though....

i too would prefer ordering from pct, but without a painting service, i'm considering other vendors as well, but i'd much rather have their CS

No news to report as of now, we are still working on offering painted options but we still do not have an ETA as of yet.
