Why Sentia?

I've been shopping around for a laptop for 4 weeks and I need some help making up my mind. I want a Sentia - that's the bottom line. But everyone I've asked about Sentia has never even heard of AW!!
My concerns are their customer service - haven't seen much about this and what I have read is bad, bad, bad.

Why would you choose a Sentia over a Dell? That's what i would like to know.
Everyone has been advising me "get a Dell, get a Dell". But when I ask "Why?" the response is "GREAT C/S - you brake it, they fix it".
So? Why did you choose a Sentia?

Dell may be cheaper, but what you get is what you pay for. Dell uses a TON of propriatary hardware, even their memory and motherboards! At least HP has the decentcy of using motherboards such as Asus. >>; And then there's all that pre-loaded software that cripples your system from day one.

AW tends to use the best hardware available, and doesn't clutter your harddrive or bootup with unneccisary junk. If you want something cheaper, take a look at Acer or Sager.

I chose the Sentia because it's what fit my needs best. Powerful, stable, speedy system in a small package. The only thing I wish was different was a dedicated graphics card, but ah well. It's not worth doubling the weight by going with a different computer. College books themselves are murder without adding another 6 to 10 pounds for your laptop. x_x

Best of luck in choosing your system!~
