I think it does depend on what you do, or rather, how you use your computer. I guess it works fine for you, though. However, doesn't going into and out of full-video mode cause a "screen black-out" of sorts? Sort of like when switching resolutions?

Oh yes, as a matter of speaking it certainly does. It's not distracting though - sort of like a momentary 1-2 second switch.
