I was trying to justify buying a laptop for university, but just couldn't bring myself to purchase one. It just didn't make sense paying more for less. The mobility factor would be convenient yes, but it isn't essential to me. So, now I'm getting a desktop
Here is one I am looking at and was wondering what you guys think. I know a lot of you would advise me to build it myself, but I can't because I suck
Anyways, here are the specs.
AMD A64 3200( 939 )
Asus A8N-SLI Mainboard
OCZ 1G Dual Channel Premier
MSI NX6600GT 128E 128M ( PCI-E 16X )
200G SATA Hard Drive
1.44M Floppy Drive
Tsunami Case( w/450W 3-fan power )
LG 4163 16x DVD Burner
16X LG DVD ROM
On board Sound / Lan / USB
Altec Lansing Subwoofer Speaker
Multimedia Keyboard & Optical Mouse
Price: $1135 CDN before taxes, no O/S or software.
For an A64 3500( 939 ) it would be $1225 (worth it?)
So do those specs seem alright for the price? Any opinions/comments/things I should find out more information about?
Thanks!
