Battery #1 (came with notebook): April-June 2005, charging problem, replaced under warranty
#2: July-August 2005, charging problem, replaced under warrantee
#3: September-November 2005, charging problem, replaced under warranty
#4: December 2005-November 2006, battery wear @48% after calibration via BIOS, NOT replaced under warranty because my reseller (like most) was out of stock and couldn't get any from Asus and
because Asus said they only warrant replacement
batteries for 3 months, not the full year they warrant the batteries that come with the notebook. I still have it, and it gets between 1.5-2 hours battery life.
#5: [Redesign] December 2006 to present, I purchased one of the last remaining batteries available at the Asus e-store, current wear level is around 1/2 a percent, back to 3.75-4 hours battery life
