Just recently my I do not even know how old 5620's display started acting up.

What happens is that 'randomly' the screen dims. I can still see barely.

So I tried to format it fresh (xp pro) and even during the installation (after setup was loaded and comp formatted) it dimmed again.

It could be a hardware problem but the phenomenon happens randomly. After 2min of logging into Windows or after 10 hours.

Any ideas/causes?
