Creative Audigy 2 ZS include optical cable?

i just bought one off dell

does it include a optical cable so i can get a digital output for my z-5500s

Nope, it only comes with a pair of bud headphones and a breakout cable that supports up to 7.1 channels. No optical cable is included and the manual requests that you purchase one separately

Although.. it does come with the dongle to support up to 7.1 surround so you can just use the dongle to hook up to a sound system that way.

Yes, but it still sounds good. You'll to dish out the 25 bucks on an optical cable.

You could also use a 1/8" minijack to mono/stereo RCA cable to connect the A2 ZS's digital out on the soundcard to the digital coaxial input on the speakers.
