Every review that you guys think is legit has the 855 chipset and the others that you dont think are legit are using the 865 or 875 chipsets.
I wonder how the FX57 would perform on a socket 7 board.
You don't know how to read, do you?

In the test setup, Scott clearly states that the overclocked P-M is running with a 533 MHZ FSB.... but tell me please exactly how much the 875 is better than the 855 in performance? The biggest contributor to the P-M performance is the big 2MB L2 cache. Fanboy? Not at all, I would love to see techreport evaluate the P-M running in a 915M or in a 875. That would put things in place.

An FX-57 would perform 2-3% slower in a K8T800, the original K8 chipset. that is exactly the same amount the P-M would differe between an 855 and a 875. Heck, even with a NForce 3 Go 120 the FX-57 would still be within 5% of the NForce 4. But if you want to think about a socket 7 is up to you.

Absolutely correct!
