Hey All....

Let see what your system bench out to.

You must include a screenshot of the PI output & your CPU-Z.

You can download Super PI here http://www.drunken-student.co.uk/dl/super_pi_mod.zip

You can download CPU-Z here http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

You can host the image here: http://www.imageshack.us

Here is my system...

Asus Z71V
Intel Pentium-M 1.7 400FSB overclocked to 533FSB => 2.26Ghz
2GB RAM

run you pi to 1 or 2 million at least.. and everyone knows your's is the fastest...
post #3 of 21
nice try smilepak

1m 25s for 2M
34s for 1M

i won't be the fastest.. i think this score is about equiv to a AMD 64 3400+
is there a speed diff between AMD 64 mobile and AMD 64 deskstop at the same speed rating?

I'm not overclocked. :-(

Interesting note, though: RMClock speeds me up. It runs faster with RMClock active.

And I have 2x512MB PC4200.

hey 1cent,
How stable is you 1.86 overclock and how are your voltages?
post #11 of 21
its 1.8 -> 2.39ghz to be exact
133x18
voltage is on the pic.. running 1.324/1.308 is 100%stable.. i can use 1.292 and it seems very stable..but in prime95.. i run into an error in calculation in a couple of hours.. but i can play games run 3dmarks fine at 1.292. but i up it to 1.308 anywayz

I am on 12" uniwill 223ii0 with 2GHz PM 755 and 2x512 MB RAM

My results for superpi mod1.4

1M 00m 42.551s
2M 01m 58.240s

It does not look great.
No extra tweaking has been involved.

well super pi is a 10 year old code. You can not really trust it unless you have a 10 year old pc

there are new pi's for today's computers such as http://www.myownlittleworld.com/pi/pitable.html

superPI is also the most popoular.. and it is good b/c it tests the raw performance of your processor.. i mean.. with all the optimization stuff.. its hard to compare.. but superPI is not real world performance..

This is good stuff..keep it coming..

so far this is what i can draw from this:

in this test Dothan clearly kicks ClawHammer ass. Compare both AMD64 3200+ results, they are around 1m45s. The Dothans (1.86) are pushing 1m36s. 9 sec differance between the 2 CPUSs. Note that the 3200+ AMD64 Clawhammer is clocked at 2.0Ghz.

My next question is....how reliable is this test?
