3dmark scores better..!!!

Anyone know why my 3dmark scores are better with one stick 1024 memory, than having it mixed with dells 256 memory to = 25x + 1024. I know its more memory to have but my scores are lower than just the one gig stick.

This is just a guess. It may be that Hynix ram that Dell includes in 9300's has a slightly higher CAS latency, etc. than you stick of 1 gig and when they are both in together the stick of 1 gig needs to run at the same speeds as your slower 256 stick. Amount of ram shouldn't really affect 3dmark 05 since it's so GPU dependent but it's possible that the speed of your ram might.

What was the score for 1gig and 256+1gig on 3dmark? is it a big difference?
