Granted - we're now a generation ahead but it shouldn't make THAT much more of a difference. Also if I'm reading right, this thing has a Turion - a 64mb CPU.
Get with the program people - this is an awesome notebook for the price this would even beat the Z71V as the bargain notebook if it has WSXGA+....which I'm not sure if it does.

This is a bargain at $1,233. You get Turion 64, ATI X700, 100GB 5400rpm HD, DVDRW Dual Layer DVD-RAM Slot load, Windows XP Pro, 6-in-1 reader... BTW this notebook is sold with Windows XP 64-bit Pro in the UK so it is certified and ready for Windoes XP 64. I think the Ferrari 4000 and TM 4400 is the only notebooks certified and sold with Windows XP 64-bit installed (UK market). However you look at it, simply outstanding value.
