If you'll be carrying the z70v then I'm definately interested. Any idea on what date you'll start selling them (or an ETA on the actual ship date to the customer?).

Oh, one last question: does powernotebooks offer any kind of student discount?
Yes, please e-mail me at Donald@PowerNotebooks.com

For everyone's info, Canadian resellers are now on the list. As before, if you find a new one, let me know, and I'll add it.

I'm on my roommate's computer now, and it's late. Insomnia raises my post count.

There is a chain in Utah (lots of locations) called PC Laptops (http://www.pclaptops.com/) that carries a couple Asus models under disguised names (715 is the Z71V, they also had another model not on their current menu). They are WAY overpriced and tell a few technical fibs, but at least you can walk in and see one.

Most Ontario Resellers Suck!

Most of the resellers that ASUS lists in Ontario are terrible and don't seem too legitimate or helpful at all. Also many don't carry a decent lineup. They don't know anything about what they sell or the Z70v refresh or anything.

My local guy ended up helping me out the best... hell I ordered a V6V and an A6Ne from him!

The last time i was at this brick and mortar place, they were configuring some ASUS notebooks. (about 3 months ago, not sure they are an Authorized ASUS dealer).

I can't find anything mobile on their web site. Did they quit doing notebooks or do they only sell them in shop?

sorry, not yet. I looked around and saw some possibilities, but I can't be sure that they actually sell Asus notebooks. PM me and I'll tell you what I found. I don't want to post them here because I'm not sure if they actually sell Asus.

Canada - British Coloumbia
http://www.atic.ca

While they don't have many asus laptops shown on the webpage, email them about what you want and chances are they can get it for you.

I'm getting a Z70 built right now, they say their supplier has plenty onhand, no idea why it's not on their website.

It may have been addressed previously, but BCom computers has multiple walk-in locations. They didn't have a Z71v on display when I was in there, but I think that they had a Z71a.

I should also mention that the customer service has been mediocre.

which ones of those Ontario stores (avoids sales tax) sure aint Canadasys, i checked today.

2 questions

1. What places can i avoid that 15% by pay'n cash
2. What places can i get financing on the Asus Z71V
