Alright I was playing around w/a few network settings and I fudged something up pretty good!

I have both my laptop and desktop showing that a network conection plugged in but neither computer can see each other. I can't ping either computer w/o the conection being timed out. I had almost everything working how I wanted it to but now nothing works!

Any clues on what I fudged up?

check to see if the internet connection firewall in XP is turned off on the machines.. that could be the problem
