Compaq R4125US

Hi,

I currently have a compaq R3140US maybe it has the AMD Athlon 3000 but my question is that i want to get this new model that best buy is currently selling.. its the R4125US... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1118839463450

I was wondering what you guys think of it?? any information will be aprreciated...

BTW: i work at best buy and i have heard that it is going to be a great laptop but i dont want to get it yet before we get it in stock because i want to test it out and see if i like it... I just wanted to see what all of you thought of it...

I've also kept an eye on the R4000 series, but this model number is new to me. Still, it doesn't seem to be much different from the R4035 that's sold in Canada (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...05&catid=20354).

From the couple of times that I've tried it out at the local BestBuy, it seems to be a great laptop in its class. If anyone has anything to add, I'd be interested to hear it as well!

I was looking at this laptop before I purchased a toshiba. I dont want to flame at all and this is just my opinion. The only reason that steered me down on the compaq is the plastic chassis it is in. It just didnt seem durable to me while I was at bestbuy. By all means it is a great computer it just didnt seem to suite me in the store. The toshiba I bought also as the same graphics card(200m/express). I know it is intergrated but it works pretty well. I used it in Grand Theft Auto 3 and the game looked really well. If it wasnt for the plastic casing I would have bought the r4000 in an instant. Thanks and good lucky on buying your new laptop
