I'm looking to by myself a new latop. (In new - i mean new for me cause probably i'm gonna get myself a sacond-hand one).
After reconstructing mine from almoust zero (no HDD,TFT, FDD... it figueres out that the inbuilt ram has some problems and can't read from it, so after a while the machine starts to freeze when you whant to use the ram, can't even install the Win on it. It was a Toshiba Satellite 4200 pro - 500 MHz)
I tried on different sections but now I'm adressing to everyone!
I have a really low budget!! (thanks for your ideas guys - those recomended laptops are great, but... here in Romania i could get myself a car for that price!). For an ideaa: max 300-400$. (best around 200-300)
I'm really intresetd in the model info of the laptop not where to find it.
So what am I looking for:
Battery - what really matters (at least 2 h)
CPU : 500<>1000 (max 1500)
RAM : 128<>512
HDD : support as much as possible ( I hace a 40gb one from my old lappy)
USB, Irda, Lan
TFT : 13<>15"
So if you know a system like this or you had an old laptop that fits in it and you where satisfied with it (at that time
), please let me know! (or if you know what to do with the Ram problem. Details on thread: Toshiba general -> A big Ram problem!!!!!!!!!!!! )
