Video problems

Ok so I went to watch a video in windows media player and it is all super bright and full of contrast. Something is definitly wrong I havent changed any settings or anything, anyone know how to fix this weird video problem..games work fine.

Its a setting in WMP7-9 that for some ungodly reason allows you to watch everything is this odd color pattern WMP10 has this mode off by default but some people accidentally turn this mode on dont know how its done but somehow it turns on. Upgrade to WMP10 if this doesnt fix it go into the Tools menu option and go down to options then the performance tab and finally the advanced section and check or uncheck the YUV or RGB flipping mode suntil the colors are normal. check back if this doesnt help.
