I just bought my external battery. it works great, will last long and gives plenty of power i used it at home, i tested it on an airplane, in the car out at starbucks it works great. It lasted the whole trip! i've never seen such a powerful battery in my life... great buy, would recomend!

as you can see here on the plane you can easily use it to rest your feet on

here i am again at the relaxing starbucks, surfing the internet via wireless lan....

Here i am walking home from starbucks, and the battery and all is zipped up in my backpack.. its so light i forget its on sometimes.

this small compact battery that can go any where and doesnt need to be charged, you would be suprized how long it lasts. give it a try!

i took all my pics with this camera - SONY Super Cam 15 megapixel

Hey, how about a link?

I'd like to get one myself!

That does look a bit large. I have something equivalent in my Power Station but it uses a DCtoAC converter and then I use my AC adaptor. This appears to have a DC to DC converter using a motor-generator set. Hard to tell.

How much does this thing weigh? That's what I don't like about my Power Station, its weight, though I have it on a set of wheels. Plus its bulky, and between it and my 8886, I'd have no other carry on.

just get an adaptor that plugs into that monster, you could take pictures for ever, on full auto.

Anyway, is there a web page for this? A manufacturer's name, model name or number? Something to check out.

LOL

Hmm heres a generator that might actually work and a tad bit more portable... only 46 lbs.. not sure if thats full or not though LOL(but 1.1 gallon of fuel wont add that much weight....... 14 hours at 1/4 load and 4 hours at load

here 50 lbs is still a bit much thats about 80 lbs youd hafta carry with the 8890 LOL

2 extra batteries is a bit lighter LOL

I think I will stick with my 10KW NorthernLights GenSet on the Yacht or the 3KW Trace Inverter for the slience when at anchor in a nice cove. Way Cool!!

No no no. For your 8890's you need one of these (Myrkat uses this exact model for his Sager )

And just in case you need a users guide try here.
