Just finished wiping the foctor hard drive and reloading it "my way" here are some pics. Don't laugh I have a very expensive Nikon that I have no idea how to use.

My first observation has been that this is one hell of a quality product. The fit and finish is perfect, the paint is shiny, and the chassis is externely duarble. It does seems like I am typing on some cheapo Dell. I fact I will be dumping my dell in the trash tomorrow. My lap does not get hot while I am using it, and the thing is extremely quite.

Nice pics, despite their skyscraper like resemblence. Thanks for posting them! You're not joking about the glossy surface, we can see your reflection in it! Now, is it some funky camera thing or are your rubberized grips gold?

Funky camera thing. I am gonna make another pass at it in the AM. It take all night now to download the 30 some odd Microsoft patches on a new XP install!

is that blue and GOLD? Or just very very odd lighting. The blue is alot darker than it seems in that photo...im beginning to lean to it.

It's the damn flash on my camera! $600 bones and you would think it would be point and shoot!

I preferred my 51m in the silver, but your blue machine looks quite nice. Congrats! Are there three stuck/dead pixels on your LCD, or is that a camera bug?

The screen was off, no dead pixels.

Camera -

Coolpix? - should be a GREEN (AUTO) mode... your shutter speed needs to be much higher to avoid the blurrrr.

My count was quick, but indeed, you are correct..... 5 is BAD for a "high-end" camera...

I tried a few months back when I got it, Nikon has no dead pixel policy whatsoever, they told me to buy a new camera.

Then return it as defective.

Like I said, they would not take it back, not worth the time or expenses involved in arguing with them. No matter bought a new one today anyway.

You made of money? Even if it was a cheap camera, it's a PRICIPLE issue.

I've never seen bad pixels in a camera - 'course I don't know anyone who uses Nikon's digitals...

I just look at it this way, I paid about $400 for it a few months back. Normal tech industry rate of value put's it at less than half of what I paid for it. Apply Ebay logic to the deal and now it's a quarter of the original price.

So I now have the oppertunity to purchase a new camera an "Olympus" instead of the Nikon that they would not take back. I don't mind spending the money, if it's on me.

BTW here are some new pictures that better illustrate the "Blue" version, and also the requested picture of the video module....
