Well, it got here earlier today and it WAS the same machine and it lasted about about an hour maybe and then started the same old sh!t. Newegg really has it coming tomorrow.

I wouldn't...

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but take it from me, don't bother with Newegg. Yea, it'll feel good to rip someone a new one, but in the end, they won't help you at all. You'll just waste more time with them.

Personally, I'm just going to deal with Acer tech support and never shop with Newegg again. People are starting to discover that Newegg is great until you have a problem. But that's where the value in a retailer really is. How good are they when the going gets tough?

Don't waste your time man. Hey, it's a good laptop. Mine's great except for the DVI port. Try calling Acer first, if nothing else.

Yeah, I dont think newegg will be getting my money again. As for support, I ony went to newegg because i wanted a NEW computer..oh well eh? Acer's taking care of it and being very helpful in the matter.

It states clearly on Newegg's website (for the Ferrari 4000, anyway):
"** This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only"
Seems clear to me. I've bought stuff from the for years, always had great pricing and great service. I've had issues with a few orders that Newegg handled well, but none of these were "** This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only".
I suggest you read the full description. Sorry for your troubles, but your issues are with Acer, not Newegg.

I was going to say the same thing, but Plato beat me to it. I just purchased my TravelMate 8103 a little over a week ago and every online retailer I visited (about 5) had the similar disclaimers.
