Thanks and some general questions.

This forum is awesome! I have been spending the last couple weeks doing research to decide which laptop I want to get as I am starting Business college soon and they require I have one.
At first I was looking at an hp zd8000 as its price fits within my range, but I could not get over the out of date x600 gpu. I just can't imagine spending money for a computer that I cannot use for gaming as I want. It is also heavy and does not have very good battery life.
After finding the coupon codes for Dell I have finally decided on getting a i9300 which will be great for my gaming, lighter and will have decent battery life. Once an EPP 33-35% off coupon comes out I will order mine with these specs:

1.86 ghz processor
WXGA+ Display(I wouldn't use the high resolution on UXGA anyways)
256mb ram (I'm going to get 2 Gb from Newegg and install it)
60GB 7200 HD
24x CDRW/DVD
256mb 6800 Go
Intel 2915 a/b/g
9 Cell battery

Any suggestions/comments?
Any idea when another 33-35% EPP discount will come out? I get e-mails from Dell when they do; just wondering if anyone knows.

Oh yeah, forgot... I read about the Dells having a tool that lets you make a Win XP CD to reinstall windows with. When I make one, format, and reinstall Windows will that CD install the computer with all the crap on it or is it a true Windows XP cd?

My iXPS2 came with a cd labeled Win XP Reinstall or something - typical blue/white Dell looking disc - but it's nothing more than WinXP PRO CD. No special Dell crap - a fresh nice CD - I think the only MOD on it is that is has added code to make sure it only gets installed on your Dell. (but there are hax on the web to bypass that should you want to install this copy of Win XP Pro on another box in the future)

I never had to make any cd.

I made the restore CD--it's a basic Windows XP cd--just the OS, either PRO/MCE/Home, depending on what's in your laptop now.

Not quite true as it also installs the drivers, as well.

Okay, that's right.
