Yes. 2400mhz is the same as 2.4ghz .
But AMD rates there cpu by comparing how fast it runs applications and software to Intel cpu's . So the 3800+ is running at 2.4 GHz. It’s called a 3800+ cause that’s what AMD considers its speed is in running applications compared to Intel 3.8ghz
At least that’s the way AMD does it. There 3800+ is running at 2.4 GHz.
The 3700+ also runs at 2.4ghz and the 3500+ runs at 2.2ghz .
AMD test the speed of the core in running applications / software then compares it to a Intel. That’s how it’s don .
It has nothing to do with the clock speed that the AMD cpu is running at.
Intel does market the cpu’s by there clock speed.
This is what probably confuses people
It confuses most people. Don’t blame this on me. It’s all AMD doing
