You would assume that Clevo would issue incomplete specs only if the DVT phase had not been completed. This was originally scheduled for completion on 08/16. If DVT was complete, it would have been passed on to the PVT phase to be completed by 09/20. In the Product Verification Stage PVT, one would think the specs are well established and the debugging begins.
Sounds as if Clevo is behind schedule. But why issue something so wild as what they did. Certainly they should have known the alarm it would cause and end up causing more harm than just remaining silent.
However, Rockdirect just put the Xxtreme 64 back on their site and as originally advertised with dual core. Also, Eurocom still has theirs listed for September, 2005 shippment. I don't know much about these two companies, but are they large enough players that Clevo would keep them in to loop?
