my friend has a pretty good computer
1800+
ti4200 128
epox mobo
256 pc2100 ddr ram
100 gigs of hard drive space (1 40 and 1 60)
but when he came over to my house this week for a LAN he tried to install 2 of my games, Enter The Matrix, and WarCraft III. But when he tried to play them (the install had no flaws at all) it restarted his computer within 5 seconds of executing the program.
i asked him if his video card drivers were up to date, he said they were, and i also asked him if his Direct X version was the most current and he insured me that they were. After i asked him these questions he said that it was happening right after he formated his computer because he wanted to play GTA Vice City. and that didn't help at all.
so here i am, asking help since i couldn't figure it out. thanks in advance.
