Sorry guys I thought you were talking about the fan leds (my laptop cooler). Yeah any leds on the XPS can be turned off.

Not sure what you mean but some people have seen some small light leakage in the display when the top leds are on, personally I can't tell.

I like it alot! For a just about $19 shipped it's well worth the investment! It will work just fine on your 9300 since the XPS and 9300 chassis are identical.

Dude that is a SICK laptop...WOW...and the specs are off the chart.

How much did it run you? (im assuming you did cash in on a coupon code)

The cooler just makes it too...For reference your 3DMARK05 is about 25 points higher than mine, and look at my specs. Thats a rediculous laptop.

congrats and go Dell.

Thanks for the comments! I used the 40% off cupon so I think it ended up at the mid 2k range with the 2gb from newegg.

You must live a dull life then. I'm just kidding but if you're familure with hardware there's nothing to risk. I've been around a lot of hardware so I'm very confortable and I know what I'm doing.

Great pics! Very good quality .Oh yeah, by the way does anyone know if there are any of those coupon things out for the XPS m170? I really wanna get one but its a bit over my price range and wish i could drop the price down a bit.

Great pics. I might just get that cooler. Right now I'm on a foam riser..

I take apart my XPS once a month to clean out the dust. I have a hell of a time keeping it clean out here.

Best XPS pics I've ever seen. Period.
