It looks like the 8887 may initially ship with the 3.06GHZ CPU even though the bios will need flashed to enable it. Hopefully the new bios release will be out within a month or so of the 8887 release. So, if this is the case, you will be able to get it with the HT chip, and when the bios is released, we'll host it up and the instructions of how to flash it to enable HT. They will probably be debugging it for awhile considering the changes that that come with HT.
