Phone Internet Laptop

Wondering if I can use my cell phone Sony Ericsson T616 to get on the internet via cable and my laptop Compaq Presario 1800T.

I have free weekend min and free after 9:00 pm to 6:00 am with no air time. Would like to acess Net Zero to check E mail and write E-mail. Is that possible?

I am having fits trying to figure this out.

From what I know (or rather don't know ) I think you need to have a data enabled phone to do dialup work. You might need to check your plan to see if it is or isn't. Otherwise you would need the proper cable to connect your phone to the USB bus or a serial port, or you could use bluetooth or infrared if that is available on your PC and phone.

Got it Going...

Hi Jeff, I finally got it going. Had to get Blue Tooth and its working on both laptop and pc.
