Just cuirous, whats the dell discount for being a dell employee? I am just curious if its worth going and getting a part time job to stand in the mall for 2 weeks?

Just place your order on the epp page and during checkout theyll ask for your school and your school id number. You should know you school id number as it should be on your acceptance letter and school site. Dont really sweat it though, becaue i dont think dell even checks the id number corresponding with the schools anyway. Thats how I did it anywho

Where can you find the EPP page? Or is that the same as the Higher Education store? If I order from the Higher Education store, the Inspiron 9400 is the same as the e1705, right? Because the price on a customized 9400 from the HE store is worse than what you can get from the regular store.

Does anyone know if the new coupons are stackable with EPP?

Does Dell e-mail the stackable EPP coupons or do you have to go searching for them on the net? Also, do they ever have XPS coupons or are they just for the non-XPS models? Thanks!

From what I have seen the EPP coupons are mailed to individuals. Although if the institution you work at or go to have an account they get special coupons as well.

So basically you have to either search the internet, ebay, or check with your school.

XPS coupons are Rare, I have only seen one and it was only 5% off.

The outlet section has to have some deals coming soon, been coming in and out of thier for over a month with no deals what-so-ever.

Doubt you'll see a outlet coupon at 40% at least I have never seen one, I don't think I have ever saw a 35% outlet coupon.

E-mails are based on customer spending. The more you spend with them within a certain timeframe, the more offers (and better offers) you receive via e-mail.

As for the EPP question, I get most of mine by e-mail and sometimes I see a better one posted elsewhere on a number of deal sites.

And to the person talking about Outlet coupons... as for as I was informed, Dell Outlet won't have coupons after the last of them expire. Supposedly they will be switching to surprise "massive discounts" included in heavily overstocked refurb units. But someone tried saying there was a 30% Outlet e-mail coupon out there here on NBF. Checked around with all the powersellers I've talked to in the past and none of them confirmed such a coupon currently existing.

To the person mentioning a 40% Outlet coupon... I had one back in April that I used on a 9400 and brought the price down from 1800$ to 1080$ and some change. If another 30% coupon came out for the Outlet that would be great because I could use a replacement desktop base unit to build up into something better to replace my current media server. A Dimension 9150 or 5150 would be perfect (just create an additional hard drive cage).

Hell, even a measily 20-25% off any Dimension/Inspiron (no minimum price) would be a great coupon right now considering the drought of really good deals lately. I miss last summer... good old 750$ off 1499$+ Inspiron coupons... ahhh, those were the days.
